Terms and Conditions

These are terms for our services making, maintaining and updating websites:

1. Making a website has 3 requirements: a signed Order Form,information, and payment. The information is submitted in the Information Form which can be obtained from this site (here) as can Order Forms. You may also call Customer Service Representative to help you with filling the forms, etc. NO PAYMENT IS RECEIVED WITHOUT A SIGNED ORDER FORM AND INFORMATION (INCLUDING LOGO IF YOU USE ONE, AND IMAGES OR PHOTOS). If payment is recieved without Order Form and information, or any without the other, WORK DOES NOT BEGIN UNTIL ALL 3, ORDER FORM, INFORMATION AND PAYMENT ARE RECEIVED.
2. A signed Order Form shall be understood to be instructions to us to use the submitted information to produce a website. The Registration Form shall thereafter be used as proof of Order. The customer shall retain a copy of the Order Form with the Receipt obtained at payment as proof of Payment. (If you pay by M-Pesa or Zap, a receipt will be provided from our offices at your request.)
3. Sites are created in 5 days or less, or the stipulated time for each package, 7 days or less for Diamond package and, 10 days or less for Ultra package. Days are counted from the day after payment. Days refers to working days of course; weekends and holidays are not counted.
4. Should the customer require her or his website pulled down for any reason, this customer should notify africlub in writing (with proof of identity as the owner of the website or the owner's Estate) 2 days before the website is required taken down. No refunds will be given for websites once purchased.
5. Information provided to africlub.net will be kept confidential. However if information is copied from the customer's website, we cannot accept any liability for the effects or damage. Websites are public media and expose their owners to the risks thereof.
6. Information on the Information Form will be converted to text (and photos where provided) as given to us. We will not correct syntax, grammar or spelling. Changes will only be made under the terms of our update service. Customers should double check their Information Forms or soft copy textual information before submission.
7. All our packages include within their cost, the registration of a domain.
8. All packages offer 6 page websites, including the homepage. A page can be of any length as long as the information is provided by the customer. We do not generate information for customers but use either what is provided in the Information Form or alternative information given to us by the customer.
9. Extra pages will only be added after payment of a fee of KShs 350 per page. Additional pages can be accessed by links from any of the 6 pages offered (Homepage, etc.) or can have topbar links of their own. We will advise on any information architecture issues upon request.
10. If you already have a domain, you can have it moved; this is a basic registration service and we can guide you on how to do it.
11. We do not host sites unless they are sites we have created. We do not sell hosting.
12. The customer is free to contact us with queries on any matter concerning her or his website or websites in general. We are here to serve our members.
13. We are very happy to receive suggestions.
14. We always try to accomodate any suggestions according to their viability.
